Similar to a fife, the TooT has a wider bore which allows the instrument to be a bit shorter and brings the tone holes closer to the body. It features four double holes to make chromatic playing easier. The TooT comes supplied with the recorder-style FirstNote lip plate, allowing students to develop correct posture and fingerings while they learn the first basics. The FirstNote lip plate can be replaced with a traditional lip plate (Included). A carry case and fingering chart are also included
